The Tiger/Tide Challenge: It's on like Donkey Kong!
March 24, 2012
Birmingham Marriott
7-9 pm
As your campus pastor for the Alabama Wesley Foundation, I am excited to announce our first annual Tiger-Tide Challenge.  The purpose of the Tiger-Tide Challenge is to create a fun event to raise programming dollars for our United Methodist campus ministries at Alabama & Auburn.  The evening will include Jim Dunaway serving as the referee, Gorman Houston as the coach for the Alabama Wesley, lots of good-natured competition, great food and an opportunity to invest in the lives of the young women and men on our state’s largest campuses.  I guarantee that you and your guests will have a great time.
Here’s how you can help:  We are looking for people like you who love Alabama and love the United Methodist Church to either:
1.sponsor a table for 10 for $500 and then invite others to join you at your table,
2.attend the evening as our guest  to learn more about the impact the Alabama Wesley is making on campus, or
3.make a donation or pledge before to support your campus ministry.
With your help, we can support the long-term health & viability of the Alabama Wesley for this generation of college students and beyond.
Please feel free to call or email me with questions or responses.  I have included a sheet with the basic information sheet about the event.
Thank you for making the first ever Tiger-Tide Challenge a success.  With you on our side, we can build a winning team at Alabama!
