The Pamela Wells Sheffield Award

The Pamela Wells Sheffield Award was given at Auburn University on October 29th just before kickoff of the Old Miss football game. This year's winner was Gwen Reid. Gwen works with the Alumni Association and was a friend of Pam's. Pam would be proud to have this award given in her honor and to have so many deserving women recognized each year.  Pam's children, Kate and Bryan along with their spouses and children, presented this great honor to Gwen.
  Of course Pam served as President of the Dale County Auburn Club and was a key person, along with Pete Mosley, in getting the DCAC chartered in the mid 80's. She was a major force behind the success of the DCAC and certainly helped in the 7 national awards given by the Auburn Alumni Association to the Dale County Auburn Club.

St. Judes Trike-a-Thon

Ayden Newton

Ayden Newton, a student at the First United Methodist Church CDC in Ozark, won 1st place in the Trike decorating contest during the 5th annual St. Jude's Trike-a-Thon on Friday, October 28th.
Congratulations Ayden and WAR EAGLE from the Dale County Auburn Club!!!!!

Auburn vs. LSU

DCAC members are invited to attend, and bring a friend who would like to join,a watching party as Auburn beats LSU.
Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the Ice House in Ozark. 5:30 p.m. is when it all begins with kickoff being at 6:00 p.m.
The cost is $5.00 each along with BYOB and a snack to share with the others. Bottled water will be provided.
Be sure to wear your Auburn colors!!!

It's a Parade!!!

The parade is scheduled to take place on 

December 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.

The Dale County Auburn Club will have an entry in the 2011 Christmas Parade, downtown Ozark. We need you and your kids. If you can be a part of this fun event, call Pete Mosley @ 774-4115, TODAY!!!!!

First meeting of the year

Well, it was a great night. 100 plus came out to a free BBQ dinner, join the club for the year, buy some great Auburn gear and to hear Gordon Stone speak. If he couldn't get your blood pumping about Auburn, nothing could.
