AU Engineer

Check out his hard hat.
An Auburn Engineer  is missing the "Iron Bowl" because he is
preparing to launch a satellite into space in Japan, but he makes his own statement.

BEAT BAMA PEP RALLY

Monday night, November 25th at 6:00 p.m. the DCAC will host the Beat Bama Pep Rally. Even though this has been a long time tradition there will be some changes this year. The DCAC needs for you to support these new ideas by coming out to support Auburn.  It is free and there will plenty of food and prizes.
There is no better way to say WAR EAGLE than to show up at
Perry Recreation Center dressed to show your support.

It's a new day!

Lets talk! What do you think? What should we do? The Auburn Alumni Association is changing and wants the DCAC to change too. A lot of groups will be facing changes and the DCAC is no different. No, the football team is not going to win another national championship this year BUT . . . When the football team wins, donations and interest go up. That would be called "fair weather."
Regardless of the win/loss column for the football team, Auburn University is still an educational institution that needs alumni and friend support. Should we continue in that vein or become a booster club?  Do you believe we should be something more? Many are trying to decide, as should we.
It is very disheartening when so few do so much to keep things going and no one really acts like they care. The ones who don't help certainly expect it to be there when they want it to be. Unfortunately, that is not realistic. Everything and everyone need to be appreciated and supported. You have heard the old saying, "if you don't use it, you'll loose it." That holds true in many things.
So, do we support it and use it, or loose it? "We report, you decide."

Sad for the loss of Mrs. Frances Steagall

The Dale County Auburn Club will greatly miss Mrs. Frances Steagall. She has been a member of the club since it began and has been a continual supporter of Auburn and The Dale County Auburn Club. Flowers were sent from the club and a donation was made to the Methodist Church Meditation Garden in her memory. Below are two thank you notes from Susan Steagall Brown and the family of Mrs. Steagall.
